Women at Work : Employers Survey, 1979
The aim of this survey was to examine the effect of equal opportunity legislation on working women. The interviews consist of two elements, the first being a series of questions about aspects of employment policy and practice relating to the establishment (or enterprise) as a whole. These include legislation, pensions, and sick pay provision, facilities for women workers and employers attitudes to equality. The second element deals with specific jobs and covers job segregation, hours of work, shift work and overtime, part-time work, rates and amounts of pay and recruitment, qualifications and training.
