Urban Institutions Survey, 1980-1981
Investigation of the degree of (and variations in) access to and use of urban services (public goods) and the salience of <i>race</i> (ethnic origin) in the experience of (inner city) urban residents in the West Midlands. Variables Ethnic origin, sex, age, housing, employment, education (self and children), victimisation, health service usage, social services and benefits usage, community participation and attitudinal questions on all the above. Additional variables: religion and participation; migration history; neighbourhood evaluations; travel to work; housing improvements and problems.
