The aim of this study was to explore the incidence of alternative income sources for Duchy of Cornwall farm tenants as well as problems encountered and possible future developments The following variables are included in this study: Area (in acres) of tenancy, farming enterprises undertaken, labour, rents, recent improvements; farmer's age, occupational history, training, household details; on-farm non-agricultural activities carried out, effect on farming activities, future plans, attitudes towards on-farm non-agricultural activities.
