Social Class in Modern Britain, 1984 / People, Jobs and Recession

The purpose of this study was to provide descriptive data on the changing nature of inequality and its perception, especially with reference to social class and social mobility. This study formed part of the <i>Comparative Project on Class Structure and Class Consciousness</i> at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
