Residential Mobility in London, 1990-1993
The purpose of the study was to find out if local taxes and services influenced households' decisions to move in Inner London during the Poll Tax years - a test of the Tiebout model. The topics covered by this study are length of residence; tenure; knowledge of current and previous councils; factors affecting decision to move from and to current address; knowledge of level of poll tax; perception of services; whether the level of taxes and services affected moving decision; occupation; children.
