Quarterly Fuels Inquiry / Quarterly Fuels Survey - Great Britain
The Quarterly Fuel Survey (QFS) , formerly the Quarterly Fuels Inquiry (QFI), collects data on fuel prices paid by non-domestic consumers in the manufacturing industry in Great Britain. The data is used for policy and briefing purposes and aggregated data are published in the Quarterly Energy Prices publication. The survey itself is predominately collected online. There are just over 600 respondents to the survey, which represents less than one percent of the total possible reporting units in the entire manufacturing sector in Great Britain. The sample is based on the “Production SIC07” code site; with respondent information obtained from the Inter Departmental Business Register (IDBR). The panel is updated annually in the Q1 collection of each year. Non-domestic prices methodologies for the Quarterly Energy Prices (including aggregated Quarterly Fuels Inquiry data) are available through the web link in Associated Media
