Quarterly Capital Expenditure Survey - UK
The Quarterly Survey of Capital Expenditure (QCPX)1 collects expenditure data (value of acquisitions and proceeds from disposals) on produced assets used in production (gross fixed capital formation (GFCF)). It is a short-term (quarterly) indicator of investment. It has a sample size of 27,000 per quarter. It requests information from private businesses whose employment is greater than 19.
