The Public Health Research Database (PHRD) is a linked asset which currently includes Census 2011 data; Mortality Data; Hospital Episode Statistics (HES); GP Extraction Service (GPES) Data for Pandemic Planning and Research data. This linkage created a person level health based research dataset for England and Wales that includes a large proportion of the population who were present in 2011. It includes their characteristics as recorded on Census 2011, if they've died since then and what of (including if from COVID-19 this year), and what comorbidities they had using evidence from the event based HES and GP data for England only
