The resource comprises a simple data set containing a series of prices and valuations, wage rates and wages paid drawn from documentary sources from the Duchy of Ferrara, Modena and Reggio in the sixteenth century. The data is focussed on transactions from Ferrara and Mesola. This data set is an addition to the primary study 4844; Material Renaissance: Costs and Consumption in Italy, 1300-1650. Please note: this study does not include information on named individuals and would therefore not be useful for personal family history research.
