Living Costs and Food Survey - UK
The Livings Costs and Food Survey (LCFS) collects information on spending patterns and the cost of living that reflects household budgets across the country. The primary uses of the survey are to provide information about spending patterns for the Family Spending and Family Food publications, Consumer Price Indices and National Accounts. It contains detailed information about food consumption and nutrition. It is an important source of economic and social data for government and other research agencies. The survey is conducted throughout the year across the whole of the UK and is the most significant consumer survey undertaken in the UK.
