The aims of the European Regional Project are: (1) to acquire and publish in collated form the data set on international traffic in television material into and within West Europe in 1977. (2) to analyse the structure of these flows using a rigorous methodology and a detailed classification scheme. (3) to relate the structure of flows as far as possible to the institutional, technical and other constraints which affect them.
