The purpose of this study was to gain information on rural housing use, housing characteristics and population movement etc. in two rural areas of England (Cotswold District, Gloucestershire; South Oxfordshire District). Variables Data was collected on social and economic characteristics of households; reasons for population movement; house characteristics; opinions on housing tenure.
