The BES 2001 included a post-election telephone survey conducted with a sample of 1,053 electors resident in Northern Ireland. The following subjects were covered in the survey: political preferences and values, economic perceptions, social attitudes, dispositions to engage in different forms of political activity, attitudes towards political agreements concerning Northern Ireland and its political future, individual and household socio-demographic characteristics.
