These data present government debt outstanding for Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa over much of the twentieth century and for Canada the late nineteenth century. The data is taken directly from government publications including statistical yearbooks. Please note: this study does not include information on named individuals and would therefore not be useful for personal family history research.
