The purpose of this study was to analyse the perception of innovation of those involved in the collective adoption of technological innovation within manufacturing companies. It attempted to implement the `differential perception of innovation' notion and examined the group adoption of innovation. Variables Innovation characteristics (e.g. initial cost); respondent characteristics: management level, occupational role, educational level, age, professional membership, involvement in adoption, organisational size.
