To study the political culture which lies behind the new form of political organization known as `Popular Power' which began as an experiment in the Cuban province of Mantanzas in 1974 and was extended to the rest of the country in 1976. Background Variables Sex, age, occupation, membership in the Communist party and Union of Communist Youth, educational background.
