The Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS) is a tool used to assess manic symptoms in patients. It has 11 items and scores range from 0 to 60, with higher scores indicating more severe mania. The scale is based on the patient’s subjective report of their clinical condition over the previous 48 hours.
